Reactions: Just as cute as the first season

If you enjoyed the first season of Wednesday, you’ll enjoy the second. Which is to say, it’s largely the same formula. Wednesday has to solve a mystery, which is wrapped inside another mystery, surrounded by a few other ancillary mysteries.

In this season we see more of the family. Pugsely is fun. Morticia is fine (I still don’t love casting Catherine Zeta Jones as Morticia). I’m still really unhappy with the casting of Gomez and Uncle Fester. Steve Buscemi is fine. I was very happy to see Gwendoline Christie reprise her role (slight spoiler there).

There are lots of fun stuff in this season. Lots of characters. Lots of stories. Lots of mysteries. I have no negative notes. But it did feel like a repeat of Season 1.
