Reactions: Cute and fun, but a more of the same from S1

I like this show and I enjoyed this season. I binged all 10 episodes on Sunday. There are some legitimately hilarious one liners and gags. My only criticism (and it’s a mild criticism), is that it was a lot more of the same from Season 1. Our main character Evan is still the annoying teacher who controls everything in his life. His relationship with Malcolm (played by the hilarious Jonathan Firstman) was also pretty much the same as before. I guess I wanted some character development. I love the premise, but I feel like we need to see the characters grow a little if they expect us to keep tuning in. The one standout character was student Chelsea, who was clearly written for viral TikTok moments (which has been successful). Overall this season was cute, enjoyable, made me laugh a few times per episode, so I do recommend it. But I sure do hope we see the characters evolve next season.
