This won’t be one of my lengthier reviews. Not because I didn’t love this movie – I did!

Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx lead this fun, family-friendly spy movie. It’s just under two hours of good-hearted fun. It’s about two former spies who left the secret agent life to raise a family but then get thrust back into it the fray. It’s lighthearted and silly. Foxx and Diaz deliver some great comedy moments. But the real comical moments come from Glenn Close and Jamie Demetriou. Cheesy and cute without overdoing it.

If you’re looking for a spy movie the whole family can enjoy, this is your movie. And beyond that, the plot is decent, the acting is good (especially from the kids), and the action-movie-formula plays as you’d hope and expect. I really did enjoy it for what it is, without trying to put too much expectation on it to be something more.
